2006年に神戸大学を卒業後、心臓カテーテル治療で有名な大阪府済生会中津病院でトレーニング。2008年より虎の門病院で総合内科および循環器内科のさらなるトレーニングを行った後、2011年より武蔵野赤十字病院で主に冠動脈疾患のカテーテル治療(PCI)や末梢動脈疾患のカテーテル治療(EVT)に従事してきました。主術者としてPCIは500例以上、EVTは300例以上の治療経験があります。
2017年に東京医科歯科大学大学院を卒業、医学博士を取得。
2019年7月より虎の門病院循環器センター内科医長・心臓・血管カテーテルセンター 副センター長として赴任しました。
赴任後PCIやEVTに加え、新しく始まった経カテーテル大動脈弁植え込み術(TAVI)チームの術者として経験を積みました。更なる経験を求めて2022年3月からカナダ・トロント大学に留学しました。留学中にTAVIを約600例(主術者として400例・副術者として200例)に加え、経皮的僧帽弁接合不全修復術(Mitraclip)を主術者として約80例、経皮的左心耳閉鎖術(Watchman)を主術者として約50例経験しました(グローバルの資格を取得 リンク1)。また、日本未導入の新しいTAVI弁(ACURATE弁・グローバルの植え込み資格保有 リンク2)や脳梗塞予防デバイス(Sentinel, 100例以上の経験)、経皮的三尖弁接合不全修復術(Triclip, 主術者として30例以上の経験)等の経験も積んできました。これら最新の治療経験を虎の門病院の患者さんにいち早く・安全に提供したいと考えています。
